Guro Ervin Quintin is the founder and head instructor of IMPACT Martial Arts Academy. Being diverse in mixed martial arts, he has studied with the worlds greatest teachers and is considered to be in the highest grade of technical instructors. After becoming a certified Thai Boxing instructor under Grandmaster Surachai (Chai) Sirisute since 2002, he then obtained instructorship with Guro Dan Inosanto in Filipino Martial Arts, Jun Fan Gung Fu and Bruce Lee's fighting system, Jeet Kune Do.
Later, he was sponsored by Guro Bob Shin, a full instructor under Pamana Tuhon Chris Sayoc, to become the Virginia Beach Training Group Leader in the world reknowned knife fighting systems of Sayoc Kali which was used specifically for the movie The Hunted. Guro Ervin Quintin is the only one in all of the Hampton Roads area to teach this most saught after knife fighting system. Today, he is currently influenced by the United States Judo Federation (USJF) and Fight Sports of South Beach Miami Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under Roberto "Cyborg" Abreu.
