Fitness and Confidence
Muay Thai, also known as the art of eight limbs, is one of the world’s most deadliest arts. Training in such an art will temper you in both the mind and body and, with practice, build confidence in your abilities to attack and defend. Investing time into training this confidence will affect the rest of your life by applying what you learn in class. If you can push yourself through being exhausted, you can push yourself to do anything.
Presence and Power
Your spirit is just as big of a factor in Muay Thai as your physical being and technical prowess. The power that is used is something that comes from your spirit. Muay Thai is very loud and explosive. Allowing yourself to let go of what makes you feel silly is what unlocks the strength that you’ve always had. The dominance that is built through practice is applicable both inside and outside of training!
Timing
Being able to catch somebody with a strike can be pretty difficult without proper timing. As you go through your training, you’ll learn how to improve your timing and abilities to see what’s coming. Much like in our lives off the mat, having good timing skills is important. Learning when the appropriate time is to act and when waiting is needed can be easily translated from training to real life. With all these things in mind, Muay Thai can improve your wellbeing throughout your mind, body, and your spirit. At Impact, we put focus on each of these aspects and ensure that everyone is provided with a safe environment to learn how to unlock their true potential. What’s there to lose? Give us a try today!
