Capoeira Professor Clarrel “Ligeirinho” Pope pays IMPACT another visit and shares some of his experience with the Tribe. A student of Maestro Boneco in Los Angeles, CA, Clarrel has also made several appearances in movies as a stuntman and in action roles.
The workshop was comprised of techniques both basic and advanced, giving IMPACT students plenty to add to their capoeira “toolboxes”. The seminar was concluded with a roda (a circle in which friends gather and capoeira is performed) wherein Professor led the Tribe in a few traditional songs as we put what had been taught to use. IMPACT is happy to call Professor Clarrel a friend and we look forward to the next time he shares his knowledge in the art of capoeira with us.
