Here at IMPACT Martial Arts Academy, we take pride in the fact that our family and many others train together across all our classes from Muay Thai Kickboxing, Filipino Martial Arts and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. And some of these families, like the father and son duo from the Brown family, even compete together. These two committed BJJ warriors competed in both gi and no gi divisions in the Ultimatum Grappling Championship in Norfolk on February 7th. In his first BJJ competition, Steve won first place in the adult blue belt gi division and second place in the adult blue belt no gi division. One of our youngest and most seasoned competitors, Jake, earned 1st place in the intermediate division. We are very proud of all their hard work and dedication. Congratulations gentlemen! Oss!
