Impact Tribe Breaks Bread and Enjoys the Weather

On May 17th, the Tribe gathered together at Bayville Farms Park in Virginia Beach for IMPACT’s third annual spring picnic to grill food, enjoy the sunshine, and converse with each other in a casual setting. The food and drink was organized pot-luck style with everyone bringing something different and the grill was sizzling with burgers, sausage, chicken, and large cuts of steak.

Some students were practicing and sparring in the grass, while others gathered in a circle and tossed the football. Kids were playing on the nearby swings, and fellow martial artists were dicussing techniques. A capoeira roda even broke out when the instruments began to play.

Overall, it was a day filled with laughter, good times, and full stomachs. It’s times like these that we can take a minute to reflect on our training thus far and the time spent with family and friends. Thank you to everyone who came out and helped to make this yet another memorable Impact picnic.
